Beauty | Spring and Summer Beauty Wish List

Spring and Summer Beauty Wish List

My Spring and Summer beauty wish list.....

I've totally given into the hype on this one after reading lots of reviews and watching endless You Tube videos. This palette looks gorgeous and perfect for Spring and Summer, particularly because I have blue eyes and these peach shades will really make them 'pop'.

I'm also a big fan of Too Faced products anyway, their Better Than Sex mascara is a favourite of mine and I also have a couple of their other eyeshadow palettes, sadly not the chocolate palette yet but that is also one I would love to add to my collection.

Keep your fingers crossed this comes back into stock soon because I'm itching to try it!

Another Too Faced product that I've been wanting to try for a while now are the Melted Metal Lipsticks. I love the range of colours that are available, especially Macaron and love all the cute names they give their products. Surprisingly, I haven't ever tried any lip products by this brand before so i'm interested to see what they are like... they look very pigmented and glossy!

It's getting to that time of year where the weather is improving and I'm in need of a little help to get that perfect golden glow so a self tan is definitely a must for my wish list. In the past I have used a lot of products by St Tropez but I fancy trying something a little different and Fake Bake is brand I've tried in salons for spray tans but never used at home before.

I'm looking for a product which gives a natural tan, provides easy application, is quick drying and streak free. From reading reviews online it looks like Fake Bake would be perfect so I definitely want to give it a try!

Every time I go into Superdrug I spot these bath and shower gels and am amazed by how unique and delicious the fragrances sound. Again, this isn't a brand I have tried before but I definitely plan to as they sound wonderful. The packaging is cute and the colours of these products really jump out at you.

I've tried a few different primers over the years but i'm yet to find one I like as much as Benefit Porefessional which I turn to over and over again. I'm really keen to find an alternative and I've found a lot of people have been positive about the Laura Mercier Primer so I would love to try it. I'm a big fan of their skin care products but I've never actually tried any of their makeup before so this will be a first for me.

I love using different blushes in my makeup routine and a favourite brand of mine is Bourjois. They have a really lovely range of colours, the formula's apply beautifully to the skin and they are a must have for any makeup bag.

Recently I've been wearing a lot of coral inspired makeup so I'd love to try this particular shade. I think it will add a lovely pop of colour to the cheeks for a simple, fresh look during Spring and Summer.

Wish List | My Current Beauty Wish List

Beauty Wish List Feat Real Techniques, Makeup Revolution, Bourjois, Too Faced and Fake Bake

Too Faced is a brand I love and I always enjoy discovering more of their products. One I have had my eye on for a while are the Melted Lipsticks. They look like a combination between a lipstick and a gloss and super saturated so hopefully they would be long lasting. They also have a variety of shades available that look perfect for Spring and Summer. The one pictured above is called Peony which sounds lovely but the others look very tempting too.

Next is a drugstore foundation I have heard a lot of people rave about and is Bourqois Healthy Mix. I like trying out new foundations occasionally and as this is one a lot of people seem to love I think it would be a good choice.

Makeup Revolution is a really lovely makeup brand as they offer such a huge range of products. I've tried a lot of them and have always been impressed by the selection and quality. A product I've seen popping up on lots of blogs recently are the Blush Hearts and the one that stands out for me is Peachy Keen as the colour combination looks lovely. The packaging is adorable and these pretty blushes also have some shimmer. I'd love to try them.

I seem to be forever washing my makeup brushes so I could really do with expanding my collection so they don't get dirty quite as quickly. I'd like to add some more Real Techniques to my selection as they are good quality, reasonably priced and readily available. The one pictured here is the powder brush but I'd also like to get a foundation brush as well as some for my eye makeup.

I hate being pale and I've completely run out of fake tan so I could really do with some more! Lately I've been sticking to my trusty St Tropez which I do still love but I fancy trying the Fake Bake self tanning lotion as I've had spray tans with this in the past and really liked the natural long lasting finish.

My hair has been feeling a little dry lately so I want to invest in a good shampoo and conditioner to help with this. I've been recommended Ojon in the past but never tried any of their products so I'm intrigued to see what they are like.

Review | Two Faced Natural at Night Eyeshadow Palette

Too Faced Natural At Night Palette

Too Faced Natural At Night Palette

Two Faced is a brand that I have admired from afar for a long time but I only started using it last year.  They offer lots of stunning products and I was stuck where to start to be honest because I loved the look of their blushes, bronzers, lip products and eyeshadow palettes so instead of taking the plunge I took a long time umming and ahhing over what to get first.

It's turns out I actually got a mascara first as my good friend Rachel gave me one to try and it is incredible... definitely my all time favourite and the one I want to wear to my wedding in September! Anyway, I will save the details of that until another post because today I will be focusing on the gorgeous Natural at Night Palette.

If you are a fan of neutral eyeshadows and sparkle then this is the palette for you. It holds nine beautiful shades split into three sections, namely, 'Night', 'Classic' and 'Fashion'. All the shades, whether they are matte or shimmery are rich in colour as well as pigmentation plus the beautifully soft, creamy formula is very easy to work with and blendable. These eyeshadows are really lovely to apply and I love that they are no fuss. This means within a matter of minutes you can create a stunning makeup look which is perfect when doing your makeup for school or work. Of course, if you have a little more time on your hands you can also create amazing smokey looks with several colours combined.

The packaging of this product is simple and reminds me of Benefit but is simplier and less jazzy. I also like that hidden in the lid are some cards that give step by step tutorials which are really easy to follow. I love that they have really thought about all lovers of make-up here from beginners to more experienced.

I've been super impressed by this Two Faced eyeshadow palette and it is definitely up there with my go to shadows I reach for daily.

Wish List | Beauty Wish List

Beauty Wish List

Benefit Hoola Bronzer | Link | £23.50

Initially, when I was looking for a high end bronzer it was a hard decision between Nars Laguna and Benefit Hoola. At the time I chose Nars because I had never tried any of their products before and I was intrigued to find out what they were like but now I have used 3-4 pans I fancy a change and would love to try Benefit Hoola. I will definitely go back to Laguna at some point as it is a beautiful product and my 'holy grail' bronzer but I think it may be time for a change.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation | Link | £31.00

I've been wanting to try Nars Sheer Glow for ages but I've been a little put off because I love Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua so much. Although I do use other foundations from time to time it's the one I always go back to because nothing else seems to compare.

Nars Sheer Glow has had brilliant reviews and I think it will work well with my combination skin. It also gives the skin a gorgeous glow hence the name rather than a matte finish which is exactly what I look for in a foundation. Before buying the full size I definitely want to try a sample first though because I only like very light foundations and I'm not too sure what the consistency of this one is.

Too Faced Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette | Link | £45.00

I've never tried any products by Too Faced before but every time I see a blog post on one or go to one of the counters I'm struck by how beautiful they are. Their blushes look gorgeous and I've been tempted many times by them but most recently I have been lusting after the Chocolate eyeshadow palette which contains some really pretty neutral shades.

Smash Box Full Exposure Eyeshadow Palette | Link | £38.00

I love Smash Box products.  They are brilliant value for money, easily available and I'm yet to find one I haven't liked. I've had my eye on the Full Exposure Eyeshadow Palette since it was released because it looks like the perfect collection shades for me. I'm definitely a neutrals girls and by the look of this palette I would wear every one of these shades.. it looks so pretty!

Nanshy Face Brush Set | Link | £34.95

Despite being a beauty blogger my brush collection isn't particularly large and I'm finding that I really need some more so I can rotate them rather than having to find time to deep clean them quite so often.

I have the Nanshy eye brush set which I love and I would love to add the face brush set to my collection too. They are exactly what I am looking for! My all time favourite foundation brush is the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki and it looks like Nanshy sell a very similar one which I really want to try.

Elemis Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser | Link | £29.00

I have never actually tried any products by Elemis before (shock horror) but I keep hearing so many good things about them I would love to give them a try. I'm not too sure what products in particular but maybe this Radiance Cream Cleanser as it sounds lovely.

Origins GingZing Moisturiser | Link | £23.00

I'm nearing the end of my REN moisturiser and I'm not sure whether to re-purchase it or try something I little different. It is working very well with my skin type so the liklihood of me changing isn't very big as I don't like to mix up my skin care routine very often but I'm very tempted to try the Origins GinZing moisturiser.

I've heard so many good things about this moisturiser and I love the Drink It Up Face Mask so I'm intrigued by it.

What do you think of my beauty wish list? Have you tried any of these products?
