A few months ago I purchased the Maybelline New York Super Stay 24hr concealer in colour 2 light/beige. This is available at Boots for £6.19.
The consistency and colour of this concealer is nice. I personally choose not to use the sponge tipped applicator directly on my face as after touching spots and blemishes I don't want to be spreading it to other areas so I can't comment on how good this is.
I'm afraid that is where the positives stop for me. I find the product very hard to work with as it dries so quickly. The concealer sticks to your face and it makes it near on impossible to move it so you can't blend it in. This was very disappointing and makes the product unfortunately unworkable for me.
Needless to say, I won't be using this product again. Other Maybelline products are good, though so don't be put off from buying other items by this brand, I was just unlucky with this one.
Has anyone had a good experience with this product?

I had the same experience with this concealer. It's a shame they discontinued the Maybelline Mineral Power one which was amazing.

DeleteIt really is a shame about this product, very disappointing. I didn't get to try the Mineral Power one :(. Maybe they will bring out another one sometime which is more like that one.

Personally I love the Double Wear Concealer from Estee Lauder, a bit more expensive, but it really does cover and stay put all day!!

Sometimes spending more pays off in the end because you end up with a product you really love rather than loads that your not keen on. The Estee Lauder concealer sounds like a good one to try!
