Lifestyle | It's My Birthday

Good Morning Beauties! Guess what?! Today is my Birthday and I have lots of exciting things in store. Both my Fiance and I have today off work as it is a tradition for him to arrange a day of surprises for me so no doubt in a couple of hours I will find out what they are. Tonight we also may go and see some fireworks (depending on time) before going out for a scumptious meal at a michelin star restaurant with my family.

My Birthday celebrations don't end there though.. tomorrow night I'm also celebrating with friends and there may even be some more celebrations on Sunday... this is definitely going to be an immense Birthday weekend!

My Blog's 1st Birthday

The end of November marked the one year anniversary since I started by blog and I wanted to share a little post about it. I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed and how far both me and my little blog have come. When I started I never imagined anyone wanting to read what I had to say but the support has been overwhelming and I want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you.

The beauty and fashion blogging community is lovely and throughout the past year I have been lucky enough to attend events and meet ups which has given me the opportunity to meet some of you in person. It has been amazing to get to know everyone (via Twitter too) and through blogging not only have I got a hobby I love but I have also made some lovely friendships that really mean a lot to me.

When I first started my blog it was pretty slow as I was getting used to creating posts, taking photo's and juggling work commitments. Looking back, I wish I'd posted more often because although my blog is now one years old I don't feel like it was actually established etc for a month or so after that when I got into a routine and had a much better idea of what I was doing. When I look back at those first posts I cringe but it does show me how far I have come which is a good thing.

Blogging is now a huge part of my life and has opened me up to so many new things and opportunities. Thank you to everyone whether you are a reader, follower or company who has believed in me and my blog over the past year. It means more than words can describe and I look forward to seeing what the next year has in store!
