Today I have a short and sweet review of the Essie nail polish, Muchi. This polish is a gorgeous pale pink shade which is fresh looking but not overpowering. Since wearing this colour I have had a number of compliments and I think it is a really easy to wear pink which is perfect for Spring. I really love that it gives me a nice pop of colour but at the same time isn't in your face and goes with a whole host of outfits.
I love Essie polishes but I do admit they are a bit hit and miss. The consistency of this polish is thinner than others I have used such as Bahama Mama which means that it takes three coats before you get an even coverage. Consequently, this means this polish takes longer to dry.. in fact after twenty minutes it still wasn't quite there but by then I had enough so I got on with what I needed to do and did end up with a few minor dents in it but thankfully nothing major.
Having said this, once dry, the staying power of this polish when teamed with base and top coat is brilliant. So far I have been wearing it for five days and I haven't got one chip. It is pretty impressive that despite not being careful with my nails at all and doing normal every day tasks such as typing, travelling and washing my hair etc it still looks as good as new. For me, this definitely makes up for the fact it took an age to dry.. I would much rather be a little more patient and wait a while longer for it to dry if it means I'm going to have a longer wearing varnish at the end of it.
This polish is available from Superdrug for £7.99
What do you think of this polish? What are your recommendations of other Essie shades?

That is such a pretty shade of pink, often the pastel pinks are too pale. This one looks great. I recently got Sally Hansen Jade (pastel turquoise) and found similar issues about layering and drying time, but I'm loving the pastel shades for this summer.
