Wedding | The Honeymoon

This is going to be a funny post because although in my other wedding ones I've been a little secretive because friends and family read my blog and I don't want to give too much away in this one I can tell you even less because I don't know myself!

When we started wedding planning we decided my Groom, Simon would arrange our honeymoon as a surprise. To be honest I'm not sure why we decided that or even what made us think of it but it's what we've stuck to and it's very exciting!

A lot of people have been surprised I'm not worried but Simon and I have been a couple for 10 and a half years so if he doesn't know me by now he never will! He knows what type of holiday's I like so I'm really excited to see what he's picked and it's really nice for him to do something independently for the wedding. It's also good for me because it means I have a surprise too! Our guests have got lots of surprises throughout the day and evening and of course the Groom has because my dress is a big secret so I like the idea that I will also have a surprise too.

Ideally I would like to be going somewhere hot and luxurious. I would love a hotel on the beach and have 1-2 weeks relaxing. I'd like to be pampered and a variety of restaurants to go to during the evening plus maybe some places to go to on a few trips too.

My top locations would be (in no particular order):

1) Barbados

2) St Lucia

3) Maldives

4) Grenada

5) Bahamas

I will find out in Simon's speech where our honeymoon destination is..... eeeeek!!!
