I've seen a lot of 2013 related posts doing the rounds, I've done some of mine own and I have a few more planned for the next week or so and they have all given me inspiration for today's post. I think it's good to reflect back on what you have done and what better time to do this than at the beginning of a brand new year? Rather than just think about what I've done during 2013 and the highlights as talked about in my post here this got me thinking about my proudest moments and achievements too.
Blogging - I am really proud of how far my blog has come in the past year and when I look back and compare my most recent posts to my first ones the difference is huge. I think the quality of my pictures has improved greatly as well as the content of my reviews and I'm loving blogging now more than ever. Last year I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of support all of you have given me, thank you so much!
Confidence – My confidence has grown significantly over the past year and I now feel much more comfortable when I’m put in situations that previously scared me. For example, at work I have chair meetings often across countries and do presentations. Previously the latter terrified me but after the past year and lots of practice I have gained much more confidence and feel happy doing these things. I have also pushed myself to attend PR events when I haven’t known anyone. This is something that may be small to some people but being shy and not very independent means it has been a big step to get out there and attend things on my own. It has definitely been worth it because not only have I seen some amazing brands and products but also met some wonderful people I’m now friends with.
My career – Without ramblings on too much about my job (I’m a Business Analyst) as I’ve already mentioned it and don’t want this to sound like an appraisal I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved this year. I definitely see an improvement in my work and knowledge and I’m really pleased about where I am at the moment. It has also opened up opportunities to me which are very exciting!
Skin care – This is an odd one but I felt it needed a mention. In the past I have been really terrible at sticking to my skin care routines mainly because I get so tired in the evening the thought of piling lots of different products on every night when I just want to sleep really puts me off. Last year, however, I made a real effort to stick to my guns and although I’ve had a couple of slips the majority of the time I have stuck to my skin care routine every day.
There is a peak into some of my 2013 achievements. I hope you enjoyed reading them and would love to know what yours are too! Leave a comment below and let me know what they are.

You have so much to be proud of, congratulations! I still hate giving presentations, I find them so nerve wracking and end up just rushing through! Finding more confidence is always something to feel great about (:

Thank you! The secret to presentation is lots if regular practice and to learn how you need to prepare so you feel most comfortable x
DeleteWow, you had a good year =) I am most proud of how much I've matured in the past year, which, if you knew me, you would be relieved too, ahahaha!
