I use the John Freida Volume Shampoo and Conditioner around 1-2 times a week (I like to mix up the products I use so my hair doesn’t get ‘bored’ of them so I use other shampoo and conditioners too). The formulation is thick, creamy and smells amazing but unfortunately doesn’t linger on my hair as long as I would maybe like (Head and Shoulders products are brilliant for this). After leaving my hair to towel dry for a while and adding other products such as leave in conditioner and Moroccan oil, I dry my hair upside down as normal to help encourage even more volume. Instantly I can see my hair is nicely volumised and whether I style it straight or with curls it is maintained and stays all day/evening. The following day my hair doesn’t have quite so much volume but still has a reasonable amount and much more than I have experienced from other shampoos. My hair also feels soft, smooth and nourished. This is what I love most about these products, I am not making a compromise by wanting to add volume to my hair like I seem to have experienced with products in the past which have given me volume but left my hair dry and dull.
The packaging of the Luxurious Volume range are a simple bright green so they are easy to spot and definitely stand out on a shelf. I like the basic design and although I love pink (incase you hadn’t guessed hehe) the colour combination is a nice alternative to what other brands are using on the market.
I love this shampoo and conditioner, they are definitely a favourite of mine at the moment and I will be repurchasing them!
You can buy the John Freida Luxurious Volume shampoo and conditioner from Boots for £5.99 each.

I love this range too. I use the Blow Dry Lotion Spray at my roots to give me some added volume. I also am a big fan of the John Freida Full Repair range.
ReplyDeleteI love John Freida products. It seems that all his stuff just "works" which is pretty nice for a change. Thanks for sharing the review :)
