Real Techniques Blusher Brush Review

Today I've got a short review about the Real Techniques blush brush. This brand of brushes has really kicked off and is well known in the beauty industry. They were created than no other than Pixi Woo who is You Tuber I'm sure many, if not all of you would have heard of.

I couldn't wait to try out these brushes as everyone is raving about them so I recently ordered the blusher brush and core set (which I will be reviewing at a later date). I love the look of these brushes because they have a pop of colour but still look sleek and expensive. I also love the dual-toned brush head.

I didn't actually see the blusher brush  before I bought it as unfortunately, I couldn't find a Boots that stocked them. So instead, I decided to take the plunge and order online. This isn't something I like to do as you really can't make a good judgement on what you are buying by just looking online. I found this with this blush brush as I was surprised by the size of it when it arrived. The brush head is huge and much bigger and fluffier than any blusher brush I had used before (My favourite is the Sigma F10). My first impression was that this was going to be far too big so I actually started using it as a powder brush instead.

 

Since getting this brush I have used it to apply blusher once and sadly I did find that for me the brush was just far too big so I didn't get a precise enough application. I know this is a little controversial as most people seem to be big fans of these brushes and I'm not saying it isn't good, I just personally find it more suitable to use as a powder brusher (although I would like it to be a little fuller for this purpose).

 

I haven't been put off buying more of these brushes as the quality is good and I do use the blush brush to apply my powder regularly but I would do more research in future and make sure I see this brushes in person before ordering.
